Molsdorf Castle

Molsdorf Castle is a baroque castle in Molsdorf, a district of Erfurt. It is located not far from the Erfurt motorway junction, about 12 kilometres south of the city, and is considered one of the most beautiful baroque castles in Thuringia.

Friedenstein Castle

The "Baroque Universe Gotha" is a cultural attraction with Friedenstein Palace (Eckhof Theatre) and the Ducal Museum. Once upon a time, intellectual giants such as Voltaire and Goethe and world-renowned statesmen such as Emperor Napoleon and Prussian King Frederick the Great frequented the Gotha court. Tradition and modernity meet at every turn in the former capital of the Duchy of Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.

Weimar

Eisenach

Eisenach lies on the north-western edge of the Thuringian Forest in the middle of four valleys. The city's most famous landmark, the historic Wartburg Castle, is enthroned high on the mountain above Eisenach. It has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1999. Eisenach is the birthplace of the world-famous composer Johann Sebastian Bach. The Bach House commemorates the life and work of the musician. Visitors to the museum can experience a music lecture in the house's instrument hall, during which music is played live on typical original keyboard instruments.

Bad Langensalza

In the Thuringian Forest, situated on the famous Rennsteig, is the world-famous climatic health resort of Oberhof. Where in winter the international elite of biathletes, lugers, ski jumpers and tobogganers compete for the best places, you can hike and relax all year round.
